SWIFT appoints Alan Wong new Regional Solution Manager, Supply Chain & Trade, Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong

Powerful solution from global leader expected to boost China’s capability

SWIFT, the global provider of secure messaging services, today announced the appointment of Mr Alan Wong as Regional Solution Manager Supply Chain and Trade, Asia Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Mr Wong will be responsible for spearheading sales of supply chain solutions including SWIFTNet Trade Services Utility. Mr Wong brings more than 25 years of experience within the banking sector in Hong Kong, London and Toronto.

Prior to joining SWIFT, Mr Wong has held management positions within several business segments at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Toronto, Canada for 18 years including Global Relationship Director, Financial Institutions, Global Banking & Trade Solutions covering Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets and prior to that Director of Trade Finances.

Mr Wong has earned a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in economics from the University of Hong Kong and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
