Messenger and 3 Community from one central application on the mobile phone. Hutchison Telecom Hong Kong operates this leading edge mobile service under the brand “3.”

Highlighting the growing importance of presence and interoperability for mobile services, Singapore operator StarHub will launch Asia's first multi-community mobile instant messaging service in Singapore later this month.

Enabled by a mobile IM suite from NeuStar, the service will let subscribers access Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger IM communities from their mobile phone. Log-in will use existing user names and passwords, just as with a PC.
